I Got my Dream Job 

"I got the grades I needed for further education and subsequently my dream job.

I had learnt a lot of verbs and grammar.  But I couldn't speak or apply it in any way that would help me in a realistic situation.

Christine very quickly got me thinking how useful that knowledge was in every day situations.  Soon enough, I was speaking increasingly confidently and learning a lot at the same time. 

It never felt like work - it was always realistic learning, so it was super effective.  Christine pushed me to apply my knowledge in an adventurous way - I was constantly engaged! and excited.

Her energy - I don't know where she gets it from! So positive!

I used to worry about speaking in French

"My confidence has grown, my speaking, thinking and listening skills have improved and I even saved a lady from having to go to hospital because I detected a French accent and plucked up the courage to speak to her in French on a first responder call. 

It was almost as if Christine were on my shoulder, still supporting me , such is the strength of her Conversation Café and personal attention to our learning."  

We get a monthly pack. It supports out grammar, our vocabulary and our conversations so that we are still progressing regularly. 

Each week it is like we are friends sitting around the kitchen table, talking in French and learning at the same time. 

Christine runs a great group and it has changed the way I feel about my French speaking. I have become the lead speaker in our holiday group when we are in France!"
